Mamalú is a Chilean brand, which makes all its garments by hand in the south of Chile, specifically in Valdivia. Women housewives are in charge of giving life to these unique creations.
Mamalú prints its own motifs on fabric to make each of its garments, so there will be no other fabric in the world like it. In addition, all our fabrics are Oeko-Tex-Standard 100 certified, which certifies that the fabrics do not contain substances hazardous to health.
The bib is made with a vegetable fiber such as cotton, which mixed with lycra, makes this garment soft and of excellent quality. Of course, we make sure that the fabric does not get speckled, deformed or faded.
The quality of the fabrics and supplies were the main concern when creating Mamalú, that is why when you buy a Mamalú, you are buying a durable product that you can pass from brother to brother, because it stays beautiful for a long time.
The bib has double fabric with the builder design, so you can use it on either side. You can adjust the length with the snaps at the ends.
Mamalú- Grow With You.
Mamalú bets not only to save on the household budget, but also to take care of the environment. For this reason, it developed its “grow with you” models, garments that grow at least two sizes, helping to reduce the consumption of new clothes and avoiding the production of more garments than you really need.
Just fold the Grow-with-you part of the garments into the legs of pants or arms of sweatshirts to the length needed and you’re done! This bib is perfect with a builder bee hat, builder pants with pockets and a builder crew neck sweatshirt.
The triangular bib builder is made of 95% cotton and 5% elastane. It is machine washable in cold water with similar colors. If you put it in the dryer it may shrink a little. You can use the cold air setting on your dryer and it will keep its original size.
Personally, I always wash all colored clothes with a color collector wipe, it’s a great way to keep the faded clothes from staining the clothes that are in the same wash. You just put a wipe inside the washing machine and it absorbs all the colors that may come out of other clothes. In Chile they sell the German brand “Dr. Beckmann” available in several supermarkets.
